Neuroscientists have shown that practicing mindfulness affects brain areas related to perception, body awareness, pain tolerance, emotional regulation, introspection, complex thinking and sense of self. AND with research on Mindfulness and the benefits for teenagers gaining traction, there is strong evidence to suggest that it can be especially helpful for young people struggling with ADHD, anxiety and depression, which has seen a sharp increase in numbers since the pandemic struck.
Our goal is to support parents and empower young clients with mindfulness, either 'face2face' or online in the comfort of their own homes to discover a greater sense of self and understanding of the inner critic, needs, values, boundaries etc.
